This is my fourth car since 2008 purchased from Peter Vardy in Perth. The overall ownership experience has not been a complete bed of roses. The buying experience has in general been good. PV operate a different model to most dealers with a sales team approach. I prefer this to the usual dealer sales setup. They avoid the worst extremes of sales torture which involve 'I will just speak to the sales manager'
They did go through a spell when the reception front office was not up to scratch. I even had to resort to a written complaint. I cannot have been the only one as changes did follow. I am not sure the workshop has got its QA right over the last 18 months either. Among a number of issues how did they service the car and fail to tighten up the oil filter? And my latest car came with a slow puncture, and I do not have the confidence to know if that was there on delivery or not. Still 300 miles on the latest car and I can confirm it tows my caravan fine and is otherwise running well.
