Firstly I have been with petplan 14 years and actually haven't really claimed much and we have 4 dogs . Issues started when 1 of my dogs got cherry eye in her other eye along with a corneal ulcer . So because it was over a year from other eye they would not pay for cherry eye and were not going to pay for ulcer until my very good vet asked them for 2 scientific examples of how cherry eye caused ulcer she has been a vet for 30 years . Recent incident and I know it's in the policy that you may 20% of the bill when your dog is off a certain age? My old dog had his spleen and a lump removed along with scan and bloods. So far we have paid almost 700 towards bill. We have paid I would say roughly 15000 in payments for the policy and haven't claimed alot? I would like to know are there any groups that are involved in stopping this scam ?
