Decided to shop online because the staff in the Eastleigh branch were basically useless and bad representatives for the company. Walked in to the empty store and they're both sat at their desks playing on their phones, they both looked up at us and back down again, not acknowledging our entry with a greeting. It then took a further two minutes or so before one of them spoke to us. He was fairly helpful when he decided he couldn't do the deal we wanted, and put us on the phone to the sales team who could price match the website. We left it at that to get quotes from the network direct. Network couldn't come close to the deal so shopped on the website. Only issue with the website was that we tried so many different credit/debit cards over and over before the electronic ID was accepted, may have been a fault somewhere. I've worked in customer service and sales for years now, starting out in phone sales and dipped in to it again for a short period last year in between jobs. Phones4U have always had good enough deals but customer service/product/network knowledge has always been astonishingly awful. Always have to bite my tongue when one of their staff in branch talk to me. Customer service over phone is great. Will most likely never buy anything in branch unless the branch had an exclusive on something I wanted.
