The plumber that came out wanted to charge me £120 + vat for coming in and turning off the water from the mains. Spent max 5 minutes with inability to continue the job due to no access to the toilet flush mechanism. Luckily the call centre sorted it out once I phoned them to pay the call out fee of £30.
Please instruct your plumbers not to try and ask for the full fee if they cannot perform the job for whatever reason.
