Getting a Pod Point Homecharge unit was an incredibly easy process from start to finish. Having experienced a tremendously frustrating, and ultimately cancelled, order with BP Homecharge, I was put off the whole home charging concept and resigned to using the standard plug in charger. However, just before Christmas 2020 I decided to give it another go. Having read numerous reviews and researched a host of charging solutions I decided to go with PodPoint. The application process was very simple and took no more than 15 minutes. I had to take a few pictures of the proposed location of the unit to upload to the application, but other than that it was completed in one session in front of the laptop. Great communication from customer service. The one question I had was answered within 30 minutes . When the installer came, he phoned ahead to let me know he was on his way and was highly professional and completed the work quickly with very little mess. He provided advice on how to upgrade the master fuse to ensure that the chance of diminished charging performance was reduced. Due to COVID restrictions a full demo of the kit was not possible but Pod Point have put together a very useful instructional video. Once the charger was installed, it was really easy to link to the Pod Point App. Even allowing you to input your supplier and tariff so you can find out exactly how much each charge costs. In summary an excellent experience. Cannot recommend highly enough!
