My girlfriend really loved the matchbox full of red roses. In fact, I think I got more Brownie Points sending titchy roses rather than the real thing because it looked as if I'd put more thought into it. Quite right, I had put more thought into it because I love her.
Mundane stuff like them arriving on time and looking good also gets a big tick too!
