After placing an order on Saturday morning and paying for a 2 battery and charger combo, I checked the status of my order on the following Monday morning.
Your website said my order was processing.
At the same time I could see that the same item was still available to order.
Around lunchtime I received a refund of my payment into the bank account.
I had heard nothing at all from Powetoolsuk.
I called after again checking the status of my order - it was still processing.
I was told over the phone that you had run out of the item ordered.
I explained that the item was still available to buy that morning and asked to speak with a manager.
The manager did not seem at all interested and restated that you had sold out.
I asked if orders had been fulfilled in the order they had been received and he did not answer.
How can a business run an online sales system that allows customers to order products that are not in stock ?
As of now - Tuesday afternoon - my online order still shows as processing !
Terrible customer service.
I certainly would not buy from you again but I had planned to place further orders before this experience.
