I’ve been sitting on this for a while, but I think it’s time to share.
Back in February, I got scammed out of just under $50K in USDT and ETH. It was one of those fake trading schemes where you’re shown a bunch of fake gains, and then when you try to withdraw, they hit you with endless fees and excuses. I should’ve known. But hindsight’s 20/20, right?
I went through the motions—reported it to IC3, my exchange, Chainabuse. Then I made the mistake of trying a “recovery agent” someone DMed me about. Total scam. Lost $700 more. Tried another one that ghosted me after collecting my wallet info. I was done. Burned.
Then I saw rerevertrecovery.com mentioned a few times in different threads. I held off for weeks. But eventually, I gave it one last shot.
Here’s the difference:
• They didn’t ask for any upfront money.
• Their responses were actually professional and not sketchy.
• They laid out realistic expectations (no “guarantees”).
• They asked for detailed blockchain data, not just vague wallet addresses.
Long story short: it took over a month, but they were able to recover about 75% of my lost assets. Not perfect. Not fast. But legit.
For anyone reading this:
• If you’ve already been scammed, be extremely cautious with recovery services. Most are fake.
• Do your own research. If someone DMs you offering help—run.
• Don’t give up completely. Real help does exist, but you’ve got to find the right people.
