My teenage son has an itchy, flaky scalp which comes and goes, sometimes it really flaky.
He's tried to eliminate dairy, but it didn't help.
We've tried all sorts of shampoos, the Peony Shampoo bar and conditioner is the only one that gives some control of the condition. He still gets break out of flaky scalp from time to time but it is now much more manageable.
