As a product, I think it could be a five. Customer service certainly is. A normal setting is best if you have no obvious under or overbite. One more thing: don't push your teeth far forward when setting the goo. I did, and that didn't work for me. It's not too uncomfortable, and I could breathe normally through my nose, which is great. I guess most people would get used to it.
