I've been using Rapid for many years and always been happy with their service. Pricing can vary which has lead me to seek some components and equipment elsewhere for cost saving. Delivery is fast and free (as long as you spend more than £30 excl VAT) The inevitable incorrect item has always been resolved quickly. The website is easy to use but some items are difficult to find and often found by chance rather than searching. Customer service is quick to respond and if you have any queries, questions are often answered very quickly. Returns are not easy, though. As a business customer, anything that isn't quite as expected is subject to a 20% restocking fee, together with a return carriage cost, causes me to keep an unsuitable item and means I consider making a purchase if the item isn't going to be suitable, it also means I look elsewhere with no-quibble returns in case it needs to go back. Furthermore, if anything comes from their European warehouse (which can take 5-7 days for delivery) then there is no possibility of return. I sometimes find I 'make-do' with certain components and items as it is all there is. A wider range and choice of some products is very useful. This means that some items are sought elsewhere.
