I phoned to ask what process I should follow to allow me to get the Young Engineers Scotland negotiated discount and was told to place the order via email to sales (by a sales person) which I did. I then sent an email with the order in which I asked someone to contact me if this was not correct or there was information missing (30/1/17). But I had no response after two days. I emailed again (01/02/17) asking if I was following the correct process or if they needed any more information, but this email was ignored as well. After two weeks (15/02/17) I phoned sales again to complain and was told the emails would not have been ignored? So the person checked the original order and generated a pro forma invoice which I paid promptly and the order was dispatched that day. When the order arrived I realised that one item on the order was missing and one item sent twice, but that was partly my fault for not checking the pro forma thoroughly enough as the item was duplicated with two lines being repeated instead of the third item. I then ended up having to raise another order online immediately (without our discount) just to get the missing goods to arrive by the date I needed them. Altogether not a very smooth experience!
