We are a manufacturing company and choose not to use Rapid as our main supplier as they have proven over several years that they can not maintain a regular supply. IE we specify a component, they will have it for a few months, then the item is nil stock for extended periods. These supply problems have been experienced over many of their product lines and not just one or two items We only use them for one off ordering for parts that are in stock on the day and only where there is significant price incentive to do so, we would not consider them for our normal production ordering due to unreliable supply and inaccurate back in stock forecasts. We opt to pay slightly more but have a reliable supply from other companies.
