Have already had over £20 deposited back into my TfL account so far this year due to tube delays - for absolutely no effort on my part. It's horrible spending so much money on travel when you often don't get the service you expect, but getting money back definitely makes it less painful.
I buy monthly travelcards but whenever there's a delay I get the PAYG fare refunded which is then deducted off future travelcards.
