Moving from a big city where I had a dedicated film development studio to a small university town with no such facilities meant that this was the first time I had to mail a roll of film in to be developed. Understandably, I was nervous about doing so due to the various things that could go wrong, and I also don't typically collect my film negatives after processing. I mailed out my film a day before Christmas (Thursday) and even though I was expectant of massive delays due to the holidays on top of my anxiety of mailing it out, I received a download link the following Tuesday!
