I accepted a quote and paid upfront after being told there was a 48 hour wait which would mean job done on Friday. Later had a call saying no slots on Friday and I would be told on Monday morning what slot I would be given. I can't cancel without a penalty of around £79 so accepted this. If I had been offered Monday before signing up and paying for the repair would have definitely have looked elsewhere. I realise I may be even more unhappy if the repair is not done before visitors arrive on Monday but am trying to hope for the best (difficult).
