I accepted the fixed price quote (AEG washer/dryer) The fault was fully declared.
Engineer cam and cleaned a filter. As the machine dried ok on a drying only programme, but on a wash/dry programme didn't a filter common to both seemed an unlikely cause. But I'm not an expert. Eventually got a recall, after many waits on the phone (only got when I found email) the engineer made a second call and said it could be the programmer but he'd change the water valve coil and to see how it went. I tested 5 cycles and the original fault was the same. War refused 3rd call as my 90 days were expired.
The 90 days are stated as "after the repair" and I never got a repair.
But repaircare said if I wanted it fixed to pay again.
AVOID this company it has a bad rating (and about the lowest 121 out of 123 on trustpilot as I found out afterwards)
