My Safestyle contract is number 1497347 - I’m a real customer. My windows and two doors were installed at the start of June. The crew that did the work were a very cheery bunch, shame they weren’t really paying attention. Since the install one of the doors has ‘dropped’ twice meaning it can’t be opened and the other once. Each time an engineer has to visit and I have to lose a day to sit at home and wait for them.
What’s really prompted the terrible review is that they don’t seem surprised or bothered by that. On my call with them this morning I was told I’d have to wait until 13th September to get an engineer for the third time - a wait of three weeks to be able to open and close my back door. When I asked to speak to someone in authority I was told that a manager could call me back ‘but it won’t be today’.
Could it possibly be the case that that’s because they’ve got a big list of other unhappy customers to call? Could it possibly be the case that the three week wait for an engineer is because they haven’t fitted a lot of other things properly the first time around?
I’m sure there are better companies out there…
I’m only about a third of the way through replacing all the windows as I renovate my new house. There’s no way at all that Safestyle will be doing the rest of them.
