Have owned several salomon shoes over the last year and I bought the x ultra boot a few days ago after follwing the size guide. Unfortunatley they were much to tight on my forefoot and I contacted after sales support but they refused to help as the product was on sale. I followed the sizing guide and the shoe is the right length for my foot as per the guide but for some reason they run very narrow/tight on the forefoot. Ian from the suipport team was very rude and didn't try to help, all I wanted was to exchange for one size larger, shoe was in as new condition with original packaging intact. I understand this item was bought on sale but on the product page there is other information that says S-plus members get free shipping and returns. This is contradictory to the info in small text that said non-refundable. When I bought this shoe, I was under the impression that S-plus member are eligible for returns. It's unfortunate that the customer service I recieved was so poor but I will be moving to la sportiva.
