I purchased a TA55 | Analog Multimeter - 30A Range for Automotive Applications because I don't like the clamp style amp meters. I wanted something I could interject in line and get a confident reading. This worked well on dual radiator fan current measurements and finding a short to ground. My 20 Amp digital multimeter blew a fuse instantly but this meter will just peg out to 300 (30 amps) and still be fine afterwards (granted you are only holding it on there for half a second). Anyway, very pleased with meter and shipping was fast.
