I have recently purchased a Berkeley polartec fleece as as I was seeking to replace my aging (and no longer fit for public consumption) Alpine Lowe Aleutian fleece. Something of a 200 weight, quarter zip and front pouch pockets. I had looked for some time in vain until I stumbled across the Schoffel Berkeley. I did hesitate for a while as it was a tad more expensive than I had wanted to spend. However now I have it there is no doubt about the quality of manufacture. Absolutely first class. The fit is good and the detail finishing excellent. I look forward to showing it off on it's first outing. If you can afford it there is no doubt that it is a quality piece of kit.
