I have just had to replace my Schoffel shooting coat. The old one had ceased to be waterproof and in a heavy downpour I would get soaked. It was also beginning to look tired. That is not surprising as it was bought in November 2007 and lasted to 2023 being used very regularly and very hard. The material was resistant to any briars or rips and it was warm and comfortable.
I have replaced it with a slightly lighter model of coat and am interested to see if it lasts as long. Mind you, I am not sure that I will as I will be 82 by then.
