I have owned the Schoffel women's super light ghillie coat in Hunter Green for around 25 years, having purchased it in the U.K. when I lived there in my early 20s. It is one of the best clothing investments that I've made and has served me very well for all these years, although in more recent years I've worn it closer to home and barn because the sleeves were frayed and it had begun to show its age. Imagine my delight when I found an updated version of the self-same coat on the Outdoor and Country website, in my size and in Navy, which is nice to be able to switch up the color. These coats are exquisitely well made, durable and stylish. I've ordered and returned dozens of coats trying to find one like it, all in vain. Now I've ordered the fleece gillet from the Schoffel website and am eagerly awaiting its arrival, for it's certain to uphold the high standards of the coat!
