i purchased 2 meters of tartan. one each of 2 different tartans. it took longer than i had thought. like about 5-6 weeks. i had contacted them about it and what happened was that the mill didnt get the order completed. but once i contacted them, i had it within a week. the time wasnt a problem because i didnt need it right away. the only real problem was that the one tartan that i ordered was different than what i thought i was getting. online in the picture it showed it as having a white background which is the one that i really wanted and when i got it it was a darker gray background. i was told that i got what i ordered. the problem was with their picture online showing it as white. because there was a sentimental issue with why i really wanted the one with the white background, had i known that wasnt the right one, i wouldnt have ordered it. thankfully tho after i explained this to amanda moffett, she said that what i was looking for was the dress tartan with the white background and that she would try and find it for me and get a meter of that tartan. if it wasnt for the sentimental reason that i wanted the white the gray would have been ok. but like 30 years ago, my dad had been over there and had brought home the tartan with the white background and had made us girls kilts. we no longer have those but that was the reason i wanted the white background. for the memories that it brings back. what i'm doing with the fabric is making a tote for my sister and i out of it. even tho i had gotten disappointed because the tartan wasnt as it was pictured online, i am very happy with amanda making it right for me. i would definitely order from them again. i had been searching for a long time for this tartan and was happy when i found them. i do appreciate the great customer service they provided to me!
