Both ordered items arrived fairly quickly, considering that they had to come across The Pond, and were in good condition upon receipt. The mug was just what I expected. It was very gratifying to have a hot-drinks mug with my paternal grandmother's maiden name (Craig) on itt. My father remembered her fondly enough to make that my middle name. The book was certainly interesting enough; some of the tricks the Scottish whiskey smugglers came up with to get their product to market were ingenious. Their traditions, determination to get their product to market, and general orneriness have lived on in our own moonshiners, many of whom were, and are, Scots-Irish. I did find myself wishing for an expanded glossary, due to the differences between British and American English and units of measurement. Again, overall, very interesting. Cheers, Richard Craig Pierce
