I purchased a pair of designer shoes online as Selfridges, like many stores, were closed during lockdown. The shoes were too small therefore Selfridges arranged a collection service direct with DPD. Six weeks on and I still haven’t received a refund as Selfridges advise their company policy “won’t refund the customer until the courier either delivers the collected goods to Selfridges or admits liability of the lost items” resulting in the customer carrying the financial burden of the transaction. As a result of this, I wouldn’t feel confident ordering online again.
