Seven Cellars could have behaved like virtually all the other whisky retailers and sold the recent Springbank Madeira 17yo at its RRP of around £95. Instead, they jacked the price by over 30%, and sold it at £129 - simply because they could. And yes I chose to pay it because I was desperate for it - but I'd never buy anything else from Seven Cellars again. The owner of the business even had the absolute brass nerve to email me thanking me for my business and if there was anything else she could help me with! This is how whisky shops get dreadful reputations. J&A Mitchell should delist them.
