Honestly, the Grisport Exmoor boot is probably the most comfortable boots I have worn. No wearing in was necessary, they have strong Vibram soles - I walk on beach stones most days - are totally waterproof and lightweight, but tough enough for rough terrain. I am very pleased with the purchase what's more the boots arrived within a day - again, most impressive. I should say that I'm comparing these boots against my rather worn Rockport hiking shoes and a fairly new pair of Timberland ankle boots - I'm still wearing in the latter (3-months) as they are not yet as comfortable as the new Grisports!
