I can't comment on the effectiveness of the pad itself as it hasn't been needed at the moment. I am very disappointed by the tuckins as they are made of a slippery material and pull out with any movement in the bed. This leads to the pad buckling which is uncomfortable. I have to adjust it several times a night.
