Man!!! Ever since I started sporting Fort Belvedere's Classic Boutonnieres, I've got nothing but compliments. Recently, at a convention, I wore a grey suit with a traditional white shirt. Accessories were a silk lilac colored pocket square, a black tie with geometric patterns featuring the colors: lilac, medium royal blue, and yellow. And topping off this ensemble was a Gentleman's Gazette Lilac Cornflower. One person looked at it and on impulse involuntarily went to touch it and stated 'I don't think this one is in season right now' At the same convention, I went to coat room to check in my hat. The married couple attending the room started that I looked outstanding, BECAUSE THE BOUTONNIERE WAS SO UNCOMMON. The gentleman stated,'They've seen so many of the common pin on lapel flowers.' I then stated, 'Me being an older gentleman, I just wanted something more'.... and before I could finish the my sentence, the gentleman's wife blurted out: 'SOPHISTICATED!!' ...with a fiery but refreshing look. (*Wow!!! 'Sophisticated!!' That was powerful and unexpected, I thought. I never even precived it in that manner.) I just simply smiled and humbly stated...'I wanted something more REAL' This is just one of many compliments that I an experiencing because of these lovely boutonnieres.
