The people who conduct the actual move are very good and extremely hard working. They were very careful in moving the furniture, they deserve allot of credit, however I have 2 key issues, 1) When it comes to customer service, Simply removals are very poor, we were made to wait for 3 hours between the first van arriving and the 2nd van arriving to pick up our furniture with no explanation, As you can imagine on a stressful day of a move this is not acceptable we phoned multiple times and were ignored, You might allow this as a bad day, however when we had our furniture was redelivered, we had the same experience, the Furniture was not delivered until 23:00? It is very clear that customers are a very low priority compared to optimising their logistics, When we asked to speak to a manager they were not available, they seemed to be in a permanent meeting? They were not available to call back, we just reached a dead end. 2) When our furniture arrived from storage, there was a sticky residue on our Sofa, there was a deep scratch on our dining table, Under what conditions was our furniture held? I have no idea how our sofa would come back in that condition. In the end, we were just glad to get our furniture back, and I will say again the team who conducted the move were very good and careful, they showed allot of expertise, but the consideration for the customer was very poor by the HQ function, and I would not in good conscious recommend anyone to use this company, We just did not want any further dealings with this company, even to complain to their non existant management or customer service, I think that says all you need to know about our experience.
