My phone gave up on me so instead of forking out hundreds on a replacement handset, my wife gave me her old.one since she upgraded in her contract. My new phone was locked to her network. Very easy to do get the unlock code and cost very little, especially against the cost of a new phone. Also you can pay via PayPal.
