Here I was for YEARS, limiting my purchases to sites within the U.S. (i.e., Amazon, etc...). THEN during the pandemic, true colors were exposed with all the opportunist hoarders/price gougers, etc... During SIP, I've been looking for everything possible to counter the cabin fever & I figured, what better time to pickup skating again. In addition, what better way to get motivated than to find a board that I used to drool over as a teen way back in the 80's? Slam City HAD THAT BOARD (Santa Cruz, Rob Roskopp!). Took a chance since the board was NOT available in the U.S., but Slam City's reviews (& Rep) are unparalleled. They DID NOT disappoint... Ordered the board on Tuesday & it arrived TODAY (Friday) in pristine condition. I was so impressed w/ their site/service/shipping that (even before my board arrived) I purchased new helmets for myself & my daughters & am having them sift through the site to find another board. They may be in London (& I in Cali), but this is a one-stop-shop that I'd pick over any local shop in my backyard (particularly now, with the absurd price gouging going on). Keep up the AMAZING work/site/service, etc... & see you soon! (a shame, since I was literally in London less than a year ago). I'll be back...
