Ham Bottom was the perfect venue for our 50th birthday gathering. Every thought has gone into creating this luxurious holiday house, and our already high expectations were exceeded, thank you Ashley and Jessica. There was a collective ‘Wow!’ as we entered the house and we promptly got into holiday mode. The house has a superb layout for a large group, with a games room/living area downstairs and a more relaxed seating area with a large balcony upstairs. All the rooms make the most of the fabulous countryside views. The beds are large and comfortable, with crisp white bedlinens, and large bathtowels, hand towels and bathrobes are provided. The kitchen and dining area is superbly equipped for large groups, everything has been thought of! The pool, sauna and spa facilities were enjoyed by us all regularly over our three night break, and we also made use of the fabulous barbecue hut on our last evening. We were lucky to have fine weather, so enjoyed the garden and deck area next to the pool, but all agreed that the house would have provided plenty of fun even if we’d been kept inside. We didn’t venture out much, other then to walk the country lanes and feed the pigs as we truly wanted for nothing at Ham Bottom! We booked a catered meal with Gaylor, who was delightfully assisted by Molly, together providing a wonderfully relaxed but professional service for our special meal. Thank you!
