Our three night weekend spanned three generations, including our children and grandchildren and celebrated two fortieth and two fiftieth birthdays earlier in the year, as well as a 10 year wedding anniversary. The six double en suite rooms suited the distribution of ages and genders perfectly. We were lucky to have good weather to be able to enjoy the outside facilities (table tennis, boules and the BBQ) as well as the indoor pool. The lodge was spotless and well-maintained and essential requirements in the kitchen, such as plenty of tea bags, coffee, sugar and some milk (plus a delicious cake) were provided along with good quality washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets and a washing up brush and scrubbies were all provided, as well as plenty of good quality tea towels. The bath towels and hand towels provided for each of us were also of good quality and freshly laundered. Not cheap, but worth the money for a special occasion (and actually not that expensive if the cost of different rooms was split between different participants)
