I responded to a Facebook ad. for mature models and thought I'd give it a shot. I got an unexpected call on my birthday to let me know I had been shortlisted. After a brief WhatsApp exchange I was booked in for a trail shoot. WOW! Was my first thought walking in - I was so nervous and excited I was a 1/2 hour early! That didn't matter to the team who were lovely and friendly from the off. It was like being behind the scenes of a film studio! The team were genuinely sweet putting everyone at ease with their bubbly professionalism. I'm terrible with names but as I say, the entire team were super motivated to get the most from novice models like myself. I had de idex to go with the flow and not expect too much but their attitude was so infectious I was quickly in the mood to give my best. I put myself in their hands and they worked so well to bring out and capture the best looks. They styled and groomed me really well, so well that I had enough good images to pass the benchmark! I had never thought about a career modelling but it's a serious option I would love to pursue following my day at Soho Fashion Studio. What a day out for anyone! Since the shoot I've had a model report and a model manager setting up a portfolio that has just bowled me over, they really do take the ongoing support for models seriously. Overall the experience was one of the best days in my life - who wouldn't love being looked after by a great team who treat you like a star?! I would recommend you go for it, you won't be disappointed! Thank you all so much for a really special day and giving me such a great opportunity!
