BE WARNED. The fact that they frequently send out information re private insurance for "your" pipes is because they are absolving themselves of all responsibility except for Main Drains. Especially in old town there are INTERMEDIATE pipes going under public land roads and pavements which take waste water from your system to their Main Drains. THEY WILL NOW REFUSE TO INVESTIGATE THESE BLOCKAGES. Just repeatedly saying "Our Main system is clear" ....."Our Main system is clear"..........okay so we are in the Middle Ages and I will do my Washing in a bucket and throw the waste out onto the street.
