Good product but customer service and shipping/returns/refunds policy is really poor.
East coast buyers- PLEASE BE AWARE that SteadyRacks are shipped from WA, so if there is any need for returns from east coast it will cost you $$$$. There is also a 10% admin/restocking fee.
I purchased as a gift in early January and received an email mid-Jan to say the order had been shipped....... today is 22 Feb and still no confirmation of timing for delivery.
The consistent line from SteadyRack is:
a) a 3rd party shipper collected the item from them over one month ago
b) 3rd party shipping issues are beyond their control and concern
c) although they "understand my frustration" it's my problem, not theirs......
d) it should get delivered eventually (6 weeks and still waiting)
d) if it shows up...... I have the option to send it back to them in WA at my cost and then potentially be refunded up 90% of the purchase price
I ordered 4 Steady Racks late last year- the product is good.......but I would strongly caution against dealing with SteadyRack directly based on their shipping/returns/refunds policy. Perhaps consider a local retailer who understands or cares about customer service?
