How you are allowed to treat tenants so poorly is shocking. What's even more shocking, is how you are allowed to function as a landlord at all. I've rented with stockport homes for nearly 4 years now. I have not had a single month where I have felt happy as a tenant. You should not be allowed to run homes on behalf of stockport Council. I would advise anyone, not to sign any tenancy agreement, with Stockport Homes. You will regret it 100%. Rent privately, it might cost more but it pays for itself in not having to deal with these idiots. You don't even deserve 1 star Stockport Homes. I will name you and shame you Stockport homes. You have ruined my life and my sons life since the day we moved into your property. I hope others speak up and show how poor the services you are providing for paying tenants. If you were a private landlord you would be in court being held accountable. Because its Stockport Council you are acting for, you have got away with it, for far to long. Someone needs to be held responsible and accountable for all of my issues from 2020-2024. I strongly believe the person to blame is my housing officer, for knowingly or unknowingly, letting me live in these conditions and circumstances with a 14 year old disabled child. Thankfully I was able to remove my son, from this absolute horrendous experience. I am now going refuse to pay my rent until I have saved enough up to rent private. If you want your money, you can take me to court, and you are not getting another penny off me. I have more than enough evidence to prove you have failed as a landlord in numerous ways for 4 years. You are a disgrace Stockport Homes.
