Bought a Italian leather modular corner suite which was very firm and solid in showroom ,but after 6 months of using the suite the leather was stretching and frame could be felt underneath,the foam was clearly not up to standard.Contacted stokers and a surveyor was sent to inspect the suite,the report said there was nothing wrong but fair wear and tear,,my question is who pays for the surveyor and is he independent .There seems to be so many complaints about Stokers furniture being of lower standard than they offer in showrooms perhaps this should be investigated.
