Trying to purchase a terminal and sign up to process my payments through them- on the California line, the person barely speaks English, spoke so fast, and made no effort to help me get the information- he couldn’t explain how it works, the differences between the terminal types, and kept giving me wrong prices. He hung up twice, and when I called back a third time he just answered and let the call sit in silence until I eventually hung up. Stripe just lost a customer and I’m currently switching my payment method from e-transfer to credit card, so I have a large volume of sales to bring over to them.. Stripe should spend a little more to hire representatives who speak English who can help customers get the information, so that they don’t lose their prospective customers!
