I was left really dissappointed by the whole experience.
My purchase was flagged by the team at student computers as fraud because I bought two monitors and wanted them shipped to two separate addresses (I have a small business and was sending one monitor to an employee's home to improve their working from home set up). The flagging is all part of good due dilligance however the subsequent chain of events was very frustrating.
1. First there was no contact about delays/ potential fraudulent activities.
2. Then after two weeks of radio silence (expecting delivery after 2-4 days as advertised on their site), I had to reach out to find out the status/ problem.
3. They then promised to ship the monitors as soon as possible.
4. Then within I think 24 hours of promising to ship the monitors Student Computers decided to refund them instead. Even though I made it clear it wasn't a fraudulent purchase and wanted the monitors to be shipped.
5. Worst of all, they then told me I had to reorder with a price increase of almost 30% and there was nothing they or I could do about it.
I would have expected Student Computers to offer to at least partially cover this extra cost since the situation was their lack of professionalism.
I will not be buying from Student Computers again.
