First News is an excellent and professionally produced news source for children and young people with topics and activities to interest and inspire everyone who reads it! It works really well with my international students here who love looking through the paper to find news stories from their home countries and it is a great way for them to learn about and engage with the latest news stories from the U.K and other parts of the world as well. The video links and news report online encourage the students to discuss some really interesting topics and I keep the papers for anyone who wants to read them at a later date!
