Started up with this company back in April 2017 all seemed well. Then It came to the time to receive my handset which this company lead you to believe it is 12 weeks when in fact it is 14 weeks, I was told that I would require no more than 1 form of ID when in fact I had to send in a few as sunshine mobile require photographic ID. I was also told that on the 12th week once I sent the information in, (I did) the handset was ordered and was lied every time I rang up. A week later i had a phone call from the dispatch manager to say that I needed more ID and the phone was not ordered as yet and will be when he receives the ID. So on the 14th week I recieve my handset lovely open it up only to find not only is the handset opened but the the handset is turned on and has a software installed on it so you can't use the handset to its fullest. When I rang the customer service who BTW is absouloutley appauling, I was told this is in there T&C's and would be taken of when the 12 months had been paid. So I thought rite I will get insurance on my handset as you do when it costs you over £600 most insurance company's require proof of purchase or proof that the handset is being used by you, I have spoke to sunshine mobile staff and managers and said yes that is fine I just need to confirm that there T&C's are intact with the insurers T&C's that was all fine to. I have rang more than 5 times to ask for this to be sent just to be told yes we will send this info to you via email a week a later and nothing. I rang today to be told that not only can you not insure the sunshinemobile phones but if you loose the phone and these are they're words well that is just unfortunate. I am waiting for citizens advise to ring me back and I am writing a full complaint to Andrew Perry. The customer service is awful my nerves are at ends talking to these people who laugh at you, lie to you and when you ask them not to ring you they will ring you back about 5 times more to give you more attitude and try and make you feel that you are the person in the wrong. wish I never went with them.
