A year or so after buying my current property, i noticed some problems with the roof that could develop into larger issues if not attended too in the foreseeable future. I contacted T.C.K as a starting point and spoke to Thomas, with regards to the ongoing issue. After a brief conversation, we agreed a day and time for him to come to my property and have a closer and inspection. As a rule of thumb, i always get three seperate quotes, from three different companies when i undertake any form of home improvement, where work outside of my own gas/heating remit is required. Not only to compare prices, but to also compare and gauge the wealth of knowledge and information from each company representative/director attending my home. After having a look at my roof, and with his digital camera in hand, Tom spent over an hour explaining to me how the problem came to be, how to remedy the problem, and how long the work would take. From that conversation, i could tell Thomas really knew his stuff, but I still went on to contact two other roofing companies; the second company I spoke with suggested a cheap "patch it up" job, and after a telephone call to a third company, it was evident that they were simply out of their depth for the specific type of work required. Shortly after booking the work in with Thomas, the T.C.K lads then came out to do the work and were very thorough and pedantic, keeping my partner informed at the beginning and end of each day of what was happening, which i really did appreciate, as i also have a keen interest/eye for detail. Going forward, i will always recommend T.C.K to friends and family, and should i even need something as simple as advice over the phone, i wouldn't hesitate to contact Tom.
