I ordered 32 bit Windows 7 which arrived the next day. It installed and activated with no problems.
The very well known Microsoft problem of windows updates immediately appeared. This is a Microsoft, not Techee, problem. Jon very rapidly suggested a solution which had the laptop up and running.
