I bought the trillium after which I decided to get the tent conversion kit, which may have been mistake. I probably should have went for a tent from the beginning. The upgrade was rated as a four season tent, which it sadly is not. The first snow fall broke the single pole, which tore the fly, and is not sturdy enough to withstand the weight, and no matter how I tied the guy lines or leveled the tent, it always leaked in rains, and was not suitable to sleep in the rain because your body weight creates a low spot where the water inevitably will run right to you. My single person tent however, is great and watertight, and provides a comfy shelter even in the rain.
