I have had an issue with my motorbike battery for some time and it got to the point where I needed a replacement. The battery is difficult to remove so I took what measurements I could and came to the website.
The Battery Guys provided a way to check my make and model along with my registration to check the battery is correct. It directed me to a battery for my Royal Enfield and I bought it.
It turns out, the battery is the wrong depth (the one measurement I couldn't get easily) and as such, I now need to return the battery to them, likely at a significant cost to myself.
I've tried to contact them via email and webchat but so far there has been no answer after 5 days (one of which was a bank holiday).
I'm left with a battery I cannot use, out of pocket, with the likelihood of having to pay for the return too. I would take some responsibility for this error, however there seems to be no point having a registration and make/model check if this is completely inaccurate. Especially considering how difficult it can be to measure a battery that is still in use.
No idea if I will finally get an email or chat back advising of the address to send the product back to, but personally I would not recommend using this company again as you will struggle to get assistance and the website is misleading. Very disappointing.
