I think Calais Wine offers an exceptionally good service and wines of generally great value. Mostly I am looking for everday drinking wine in the £2-£3 range, and CW has plenty to satisfy me. Short of actually delivering the wine to my door - which I know is not allowed - it is difficult to think of anything that would improve the service - apart from opening an in-house bistro serving andouillettes and frites ! I usually make 2-3 trips a year, spend around £400, and take advantage of the Eurotunnel and ferry offer (a really good bonus). I'd come more often if I lived closer to Dover/Folkestone, but 100 miles each way makes it a long day. If CW didn't exist then I would certainly cease making day-trips to Calais.
