My wife and I have been coming over to The Calais Wine Superstore on Booze Cruises at least three times a year for many years now and we have enjoyed ever trip. The variety of wines is immense; the prices are amazingly cheap and the service we get from the whole Team is tremendous. And on top of all that you book and pay for our return Ferry or Eurotunnel crossing to Calais. It’s a win-win situation. One thing is however starting to worry us is that as we usually pay in Euros with our Saga credit card, your prices have gone up considerably recently. For instance, your “Banrock Station Shiraz Mataro” was €3.74 per bottle last November and is now €4.19 – that’s a 12% increase and although it doesn’t cost us any extra when converted to pounds sterling, we are not getting any benefit at all from the improving currency conversion rate. [As another example, how can you justify the price of “Lombard Brut - Epérnay - Multi-buy” going from €18.74 to €20.99 in just a few months? To me, that's just not cricket! ].
